Duration: The course of study is four (03) years of Six Semesters.

The durations of the undergraduate programmes shall extend over SIX semesters (Three academic years) for the regular Bachelor Degree, with an exit option at the end of FOUR semesters (TWO academic years) with the Advance Diploma. Students successfully completes Three (03) years of the course will be awarded Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).

Each course shall carry certain number of credits. Credits normally represent the weightage of a course and are a function of teaching, learning and evaluation strategies such 2 as the number of contact hours, the course content, teaching methodology, learning expectations, and maximum marks etc. In the proposed programs, generally 1 to 2 hours of instructions per week in a semester is assigned one credit. On this basis, generally, a three year six-semester degree program will have 104 credits


The program aims to educate students in the science and practice of IT. The emphasis is on hands-on practical training of software development. The curriculum prepares students for a career in the fast lane of software development and programming. The program enables the student to be updated on the latest revolution in technology and equips him/her with the required skills and knowledge to assimilate into the industry at ease. The course creates highly skilled, adaptable graduates who are able to design computer-based solutions to address information management and processing complications in industry, commerce, science, entertainment and the public sector.

BCA Course is an undergraduate program where students are exposed to various areas of computer applications including the latest developments in the industry.
